I’m a huge golfer and am visiting Atlanta to attend the final four in late march and early April of this year. I want to golf a couple of the best courses in the area. Price is no concern. Obviously it would be great to golf Augusta National but that is most likely impossible as it is a very private club. I was invited by one of my customers to a golf tournament in couple of weeks as one of the four players. I accepted and am very excited to go! I talked to my boss and he wants me to pick up the tab for everything. How do I offer to pay? I know which country club it is but I don’t know who is putting on the tournament.

I’m unsure of the correct etiqutte because I was invited by him. If I had invited him it would be easy.

Should I say something now or on the day of the tournament?

What is the proper attire for an all-day celebrity golf tournament for both men and women? It starts with breakfast and goes the entire day until the open bar/dinner/awards ceremony is over. There will be auctions and prizes, local celebrities, etc. There isn’t a chance to go home and change and I’m not an avid golfer, so my boyfriend and I are kind of clueless!

Do I wear the same thing all day? I know there are golfing outfits but do I have to wear one of those? Should I wear a skirt and should he wear khakis?
